To enter the Violineri workshop is like leaving one hectic and busy world and entering another more serene place where craftsmanship is king, and where one violin may take over a year to fully restore.
First established in 1986 in Richmond, Melbourne, the Violineri is now situated in Box Hill. This is where artisans and musicians Brenton Fyfield, Paul Shields and Martin Welch restore, sell and value violins, violas and cellos. And sometimes you may even catch them playing these fine instruments.
